FINRA ARBITRATION PANEL AWARDS BLUM & SILVER, LLP CLIENT LARGE PUNITIVE DAMAGE AWARD AGAINST STOCKBROKER GARY GROSS
Blum & Silver, LLP. represented Henry and Rosalind Drabin in claims against Stockbroker Gary Gross.
The Drabins reached a confidential resolution with Gross' employer Axiom Capital. However, the Drabins proceeded with their claims against Mr. Gross personally based upon allegations of churning, unsuitable recommendation of penny stocks and other misconduct.
FINRA (former known as the NASD) conducted arbitration hearings on November 19, 2007. The arbitrators awarded Respondent Gross to pay to Claimants punitive damages in the amount of
$417,671.94 plus compensatory damages and Claimant's attorneys fees.
